We are excited to announce our latest cohort of We See You grantees!
Since the Black Future Co-op Fund’s inception in 2020, our vision has always been clear: we wanted to do philanthropy Blackly. Our community knows what we need, and by building a new paradigm for philanthropy—one that was run for us, by us—we could disrupt the imbalance of power and create a liberated future with shared prosperity for Black people everywhere.
Six years later, our vision has led to over $30 million raised in support of Black communities across Washington state, prioritizing unrestricted funding, relationship-building, and structural support for organizations on the ground doing the work.
Today, we push that vision even further with our 2026 We See You Grantees.
Spanning across the state, our 2026 grantees are addressing critical needs in their neighborhoods, from family resources and arts and culture to leadership development and equity work. In addition, each of our 15 grantees was nominated by an existing We See You grantee. All leaders who were a part of the nomination process come from across the state and work across sectors, each one committed to community-led collaboration.
